As simple as possible, but not simpler
Our most affordable kit follows Albert Einstein's famous saying. The circuits are refined to the last detail and not a simple remake of designs published in data books and the like.
The EL34 delivers impressive and punchy bass and smooth overall sound. Everything except the transformers is built on one double layer pcb. Successful completion and best sound qualtity garanteed! Suitable for the starting builder. Many different tube type can successfully be used with this amplifier: EL-34, KT-88, 6550, KT-66, 6L6, KT-77, KT-90, ..., and 6C4C a directly heated triode to name a few.
Can be converted to an integrated amp by adding an input board with remote controllable motor potentiometer.

Triodenversion mit der 6C4C
Die 6B4G bzw. die russischen 6C4C sind mit der 2A3 verwandt, werden aber mit 6,3V geheizt. Das bedeutet, entweder mit Gleichstrom zu heizen oder wie wir eine Gegentaktendstufe zu bauen, da sonst der Brumm noch störender ist als bei der 2A3 mit ihren 2,5V Heizspannung.
Die russischen 6C4C, die wir im Bausatz mitliefern, sind schöne und robuste Röhren eng tolerierten Messwerten. Kombiniert mit einer optimierten Treiberstufe und Übertragerbeschaltung klingt sehr entspannt und mit triodentypisch schönen Mitten. Messtechnisch ist ein sehr schönes Rechteck zu beobachten und knapp über 9W Ausgangsleistung. Im Vergleich dazu bringt die 2A3 ca. 12W im Legend KIT.
